About

    Meet Rachel Sheehan

My career has been spent inside some large, complex organisations. CHRO at GE Power Conversion. SVP Global Talent at Coty, where I led the HR integration of the P&G Specialty Beauty merger across 12,000 people in 41 countries. I have lived and worked in more than ten countries, with multi-industry experience spanning Energy, Financial Services, FMCG, and Beauty, across markets in very different stages of growth.

I've hired at C-suite level, commissioned executive searches, and been the person deciding what departure support should look like for senior leaders leaving under difficult circumstances. I've also sat with those leaders afterwards, helping them work out what comes next.

Human Resources Suite is a boutique consultancy based near Geneva. I work with senior professionals and organisations across four areas: executive search, executive coaching, HR consulting, and outplacement.

    Who I Work With

My clients are senior professionals and the organisations that employ them, and I've built the practice to serve both properly.

For individuals, typically at Director level and above, the work tends to come at a significant career moment: a redundancy after a long tenure, a pivot into a new sector or country, a promotion that brings new pressure, a role that has stopped working. I work with people through all of these. The practical side is fully hands-on: CV, LinkedIn, target company research, outreach strategy, interview preparation. I do it myself. Nothing is passed off.

For organisations, I work with CHROs, HR Directors, and business leaders on three things: retained executive search for senior and C-suite roles, executive coaching in both confidential and structured tripartite formats, and outplacement for senior leaders going through departure. The common thread is that you deal with me directly throughout. I hold the brief, run the process, and take personal responsibility for the outcome.

    The Perspective I Bring

Before running these processes for clients, I commissioned them. As a CHRO, I bought executive search, outplacement, and coaching programmes from the outside. I know what a well-run search looks like from the other side of the table, where the shortlists feel genuinely considered rather than just compiled, and where the large firm's promise of senior attention tends to break down in practice. I know what a senior leader actually needs in the days after being told their role is gone.

That experience is the most useful thing I bring. It means conversations with CHROs and leadership teams happen at peer level. It means I know how to position candidates because I spent years reading applications and making hiring decisions. And it means clients don't have to explain the context twice.

I am a certified executive coach and the mother of two teenagers, which keeps my sense of perspective sharp and my calendar honest. Outside of client work, I serve as Chairperson of the Advisory Committee at World Bicycle Relief Switzerland.

    How I Work

I work with a small number of clients and organisations at any one time. That's a deliberate choice, not a limitation. Every engagement gets real attention. There are no junior researchers, no platform logins, no handoffs to someone else once the brief is agreed. If you work with me, you work with me.

I'm based near Geneva and work in English with clients across Switzerland — including Geneva, Lausanne and Zurich — the UK, Europe, Asia, and North America.
